Our Family

First there's Mom and Dad. We've been married for 5 and a half years now. Our relationship was definitely unconventional but God had his hand in it and somehow it all worked out where we ended up together. We stuck with the theme and got married on Feb. 12th 2005 at a drive-thru wedding chapel in Las Vegas NV. We settled into married life in Glendale AZ. 8 months into our marriage we found out I was pregnant with our first baby and 8 months after that we welcomed our son into our lives. 18 months later we had our first daughter and 15 months after that we had our youngest daughter. Our fourth addition, a boy, is due to arrive in mid December. Ours is certainly not your stereotypical family but we wouldn't have it any other way!


M is 4 now and he's working on P4/5 (through Sonlight) this year. He is very smart and a little OCD. He is always helping us with all sorts of things and he's an excellent big brother. 


J is just over 2 and a half and she is definitely a Daddy's girl. My plan is for her to follow along as we work through school this year but not to push her if she's not in the mood (which it seems often times that she's not). At some point soon we're going to have to enroll her in dance classes because every time she hears music she can't help but start dancing.


L is still the baby (for now) and she is just starting to have to desire to be independent. She's a climber (she's been known to climb atop the dining room table several times a day) and she has tons of personality. Her smile is infectious and can light up the worst of days. 


We will have to wait and see what N's personality will be like but so far I suspect he will be very laid back. Hopefully he'll be as easy as his brother and sisters were!
